01. How Does POD Work?

Welcome to POD by Merchiful. We provide dropshipping services to resellers who are interested in selling print on demand products. This guide will walk you through our workflow process, providing a clear understanding of how everything works.


Resellers

As a reseller, we expect that you already have your own online shop hosted on a platform such as Shopify or WooCommerce.

You can post products on your website for sale, and we will handle the manufacturing, fulfillment, and shipping of those products directly to your customer for you.


Integration

We have a few options when it comes to integrating your online shop with our platform.


Option 1: Reseller (Standard Account)

Whenever an order is placed on your online shop, you then place the identical order on our store. For the shipping details, include all your customer's information so that we know who to ship the items to.


Option 2: Reseller (Integration Account)

For resellers who are processing more than 50 orders per month, we can set up a custom integration from your online shop to our POD platform. One of our integration specialists will help you install a third party plugin to connect your Shopify or WooCommerce shop with our POD platform.

For resellers who go for this option, each item in your online store will need to have a unique SKU. You will also need to send all your designs (based on our Adobe Illustrator pattern templates) and SKUs ahead of time so that the print files can be easily retrieved any time you have a new customer order.


Dropshipping

We are a true dropshipping company which means that we can ship the item directly to your customer under your name or brand name. Your name would be printed on the shipping label above the return address. Our mailing address in California would be used as your return address.


Shipping

We manufacture all our products in the Philippines. Several times per week, we ship out batches of orders to our shipping hub in California. It usually takes 3-4 days transit time to ship from the Philippines to California. At that point, your items are taken to the post office (for USPS shipments), or the UPS Store (for UPS shipments). USPS and UPS shipments take around 3+ days transit time to reach your customer.


To track your orders, USPS and UPS tracking numbers are provided.


Production and Shipment Times

Once an approved item has been sent to the printer, it should take around 1 week for us to finish manufacturing your item. Shipping transit time to the US takes around 1 week. Overall, customers should expect to receive their items in approximately 15-20 business days, excluding federal holidays.
